Effective June 1,2006  NM BON will begin charging a $50.00 fee for a Multistate Compact License. The applications are not available until June 1, 2026.

The fee change was added into the NM Nurse Practice Act in order to obtain data which will help track and trend the number of nurses working in New Mexico

If you hold a NM multistate license you will see the fee charge on your renewal. IF you wish to remove compact status you will need to send notification through the message portal before completing the renewal application.

Our agency has been made aware of scam callers impersonating our organization — if you receive an unexpected call claiming to be from us, do not provide information and independently verify the caller using the official contact number of (505) 841-8340.
